Cashew Butter Planets

Fast, delicious, and PACKED with nutrition. These superfood power balls are a hit with kids and grown ups alike. Just mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl, roll into balls, and pop them in the freezer for an out-of-this-world snack. These are great when you need something fast when you’re running out the door, great after a workout (due to the EXCELLENT proteins you’re getting from the superfoods), and great for a healthy movie snack.

All of the ingredients are REAL FOOD. The flax and hemp seeds provide complete proteins, honey for a boost of enzymes, and creamy cashew butter to bring it all together and fortify your hormone levels. Oh, and one more little secret for you…. They taste like ice cream!

So here’s the recipe straight from my book The Key to Quantum Health. Make these TODAY, and enjoy!

Cashew Butter Planets:

2 cups of raw cashew butter

2 tbsp. of soaked flax seeds (soaked at least 1 hour. Overnight is good.)

2 tbsp. of hemp seed nuts

2 tbsp. of raw honey

1/2 tsp of sea salt.

1 ripe banana diced (optional)

Combine all of the ingredients into a large bowl and mix it all together. Next, grab enough of the mixture in your hand to make a golf ball-sized sphere. As you finish rolling each one, place them in a freezer-safe container lined with parchment paper. Give each planet its own little space. After you finish one layer, lay parchment paper on top and create another layer. Continue this process until all of the mixture is used. (Be sure to clean your fingers off the old-fashioned way when you’re done!) Put a tight-fitting top on the container and place it in the freezer to become something special!

  1. Hey Shawn,
Will definitely try this for Sunyatta and myself. We both love cashews and hemp seeds. I tend to put the hemp seed in her morning smoothies or oatmeal. I love that her taste buds are still as natural as possible and she’ll try most of the natural foods that I prepare… will look out for the next receipe… be blessed.

    1. Thanks Saidia, and thanks for raising such a healthy, beautiful young lady.

  2. this recipe (cashew butter planets) is one of my personal favourites! I also found a great one for Lucuma ice cream, that tastes like cookie dough, delicious! Love those superfoods.

  3. Hi Shawn

I finally bought some hemp seeds last week to try for myself. I’ve never seen it mentioned anywhere else but I’ve seen you write about it so many times I figured I might as well see what the fuss was about. They really taste great! I’ve experimented a little bit with salads and you pretty much can’t go wrong there. They have a really delicate and pleasant oily taste that I don’t think I’ve experienced in other foods before. There are definitely a lot of possibilities with hemp seeds in the kitchen and I’ll have to try the recipe here. Thanks for the great work and I look forward to more recipes from you.

    1. That’s really excellent, Erich. I add hemp seeds to my salads all the time… Easy and adds a lot of good protein to the meal. I’m so glad you found a new food that you can incorporate and feel good about.

      All the best!
