Guacamole Traditional (Superfood Guacamole)

When people that are truly into health and fitness get together to eat and party, you literally need a security guard on duty to protect the guacamole bowl. Why is this??? Because this ugly looking dish is strangely seductive, and it actually tastes ridiculously good!

Guacamole dates back to the great Aztec civilization. They called it ahuaca-mulli, which means “avocado mixture” or “avocado sauce”.

The base of the guacamole is the unique avocado fruit, which the Aztecs prized as a health-giving aphrodisiac.

The Aztecs also utilized the highest protein food in the world, spirulina, which is now gaining enormous popularity today. Spirulina is approximately 70% protein by weight. It’s also incredibly rich in antioxidants, enzymes, polysaccharides, chlorophyll, minerals, trace minerals, essential vitamins and more! This is a superfood in the true definition of the word.

These two traditional Aztec food staples have a natural affinity toward each other, which you’ll find out when this recipe of the week pushes your pleasure button. Make this guacamole recipe and it’ll be the high light of the next party:

Superfood Guacamole

*4 ripe medium avocados

*3/4 cup of your favorite salsa

*1 tbsp of fresh squeezed lemon juice

*2 tsp of light grey celtic sea salt

*2 tbsp of HealthForce Spirulina

*1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper

*(optional) 1 tsp of HealthForce Earth

Serves 4 as an appetizer, or 2 as a hearty meal

Use your favorite flax crackers, organic tortilla chips, or chopped veggies to scoop and enjoy!

I Love guacamole and eat it every week. I found an awesome recipe I duplicate from CAFE BARRIO in Scottsdale AZ. Here it is- you can mix and match to your pleasure:
    Avacadoes
    Celtic Sea Salt
    Jalapenos
    lemon squeeze
    lime squeeze
    onions
pommegranite arils (yes! this ingredient is the most amazing addition to guacamole I’ve ever experienced- can you say: nirvana?)

    Hello Shawn,

I love your site and all of the info you have shared about super foods. Long story short. I need your help. I was just released from the hospital with a (DVT) – Huge blood clot in both legs….left leg is clotted from groin to knee. Presently on WARFARIN SODIUM (coumidin) to shrink the clot. I so miss taking my dark green vegetables from the sea and land ….. I have taken it everyday fro the last 3 years. Dark green vegetables increase vitamin K and that conflicts with coumidin. I’m saving up to get a vitamix soon so I can make THE CHOCOLATE CHAMPION!. I’m 44 fro St. Louis and have been diligent with excercise and diet. I’m also taking HYDRALAZINE for blood pressure since the pain of the clot elevated my pressure. What foods and supplements can I take to nourish my body and get me back to feeling strong with vigor…….I feel drugged on the meds. Please send me any info. By the way……..my mom still lives in St. Louis and was in the audience when you filmed the CHOCOLATE CHAMPION. She got me hip to you and loves what you do. Thank you so much for all you do brother. I’m looking forward to meeting you in person soon. Again…..THANK YOU.
PS: I almost forgot …..no vitamin K and no herbs until coumidin therapy is done in November.
    THANK YOU
