great podcast Shawn. Some of those things I was aware of but you did a great job clarifying some of the misconceptions for me. some of the information was jaw dropping and disheartening to hear. we definitely act out of fear and make some life altering decisions. I know about that all too well. I truly love you for sharing yourself and your knowledge with the rest of us.

Whitney, thank YOU, that means a lot. We need more empowered and proactive women like yourself out spreading the word and helping your sisters. Like you said, we often act out of fear and do only what we know to do at the time. Instead we need to take a moment, expand our options, and make big decisions like these with more balance and presence.

Thank you for this podcast, Shawn. I knew some of those facts (I filter tap water, plant vegetables, practice a lot, ride a bike, etc.), but maybe you can clarify one thing to me: What kind of bread are we supposed to eat? I bought home bakery, cause I found out that every roll, every bread is basically a frozen pre-baked product – that means chemicals and who knows what else… However, we use wholewheat flour and sunflower seeds. Is that ok? I am very grateful for your information. I am from central Europe and you wouldn’t believe how uninformed and ignorant are most of practitioners here – hey, that is why I am asking! I’m not native, so I didn’t catch every word. Thank you! Greetings from Brno, Czech Republic
PS: after listening to you I stopped taking pills and I’m sharing your podcast on Fb with everyone.

Kamila, first off all, thank you! And secondly, sending you much love and gratitude to you in Brno :) This is a very good question you’re asking, and there’s a lot of misinformation out there about it. It really boils down to how the bread is integrated into your body through digestion. I’ve got all the details you need to know about it right here: http://www.bewellbuzz.com/podcast/gut-health/

    Thanks for sharing, Kamila!

Shawn! In a way, I am speechless after listening to this podcast, but you know I will find the words. :-)

There is so much VALUABLE information here that I know I will listen to it again just to let it all absorb. My schedule is so crazy at the moment, so for me to choose to shut everything else down, sit and listen, tells me that, as always, you provide some extremely IMPORTANT research and knowledge. I highly urge your listeners to take notes and APPLY!!! (seriously-do this)

One of the first points that resonates deeply for me is when you speak about the “nocebo” effect. Even though the diagnosis I received was not a cancer diagnosis, it goes along the same lines. As I have told you before, when the first words out of a doctor’s mouth (over the phone, no less) was “the fatality rate is”, it’s hard to swallow, especially at such a young age at the time. I did not know or think I had a choice but to follow their specific instruction and play the human lab-rat game. I know that sounds harsh, but I lived it for a long time, as you well know. But, thanks to your guidance, I have gained so much insight. I no longer, nor have I ever, own(ed) that illness. “Keep your thoughts positive, for they become you.” :-)

In the podcast, you briefly mention a point that I would like to reiterate, and that is the statistic of male breast cancer. My great-grandFATHER passed from breast cancer, so even though statistics are higher in women, it is not female exclusive.
Thank you for reminding us of simplicity—of our food, of our lives, of our minds, etc. We all get so caught up and “affected” and going back to basics is truly the key. God-made vs. man-made: not a difficult decision.

I could go on and on about this podcast (so, not so speechless after all ;-) )—- so once again, a simple THANK YOU!! Your deep passion is definitely contagious, as you have passed on to me and many others. Big, big hugs Shawn. :-)

Big hugs to you too, Traci! And thanks so much for sharing that… You brought up a really important point about breast cancer not being exclusive to women. To have a man in your family actually fall victim to it is an important wake up call for ALL men.

    Thanks for your insights, Traci!

    Shawn,
Your ability to compose and convey such critical information that relates to current events in an almost immediate response is highly extraordinary. What a testament to your gifts, intellect, and heart. I hear your passion and it’s contagious.

The information here is filled with perspectives and real facts that I have never heard before. The follow-ups and references are cold hard facts- nothing is up for interpretation. Your presentation is done so eloquently that it’s easy for one absorb completely. Your work speaks volumes.

I am always learning, growing, and improving when I hear you speak..and always grateful to have that liberty and to share it with others. So valuable.

Thank you all for all you do. Life is better.

Jennifer, thank you so very much :-) My goal is precisely as you said… to make the information clear and easy to absorb. What a difference it can make if someone is actually able to TRULY understand and embody the information. The only way we’re going to make a huge difference on the planet is if more people are the walking, talking examples of what’s possible.
    Thanks again!

I knew when friend after friend after friend had breast cancer after my diagnosis, I knew there was something amiss. I knew this seem to be a conspiracy of some sort. I have been destroyed by the treatment. I am now suffering with Rheumatoid Arthritis and in constant pain. They did the genetic test on me and I, they said, do not have the gene. Genes, genes, genes for everything! I’m on Herceptin now because of the Her2 receptors. Being diabetic too…..I’ve aged 10 yrs with all these side-affects? I know my body is fighting these affects which is trying to help me correct things. Stress will kill you people and manifest itself in a dis-eased state called diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis!!!!!! Uggh……thank you for this broadcast!

    Shawn,

I want to thank you so much for this informational and inspiring podcast. I have a scheduled appointment tomorrow to get a biopsy done because of nodule in my breast and have felt extremely anxious. You have helped educate me on causes of breast cancer and preventative measures that I can take to have a healthy life regardless of how the biopsy turns out. I feel less anxious after listening to you and more encouraged instead, and am ready to be proactive in healing my body. Wish me luck and pray for me.

    Hi Shawn,

I wanted to let you know that I went to the surgeon yesterday for the biopsy that I told you that I was scheduled to have, but ended up not needing it because he said the lump is gone. I have to go back to see him in a month just to make sure, but he told me that all seems well. He also talked to me about beginning to take vitamin E supplements to help with breast tenderness issues that I have during certain times of the month. Thank you for your encouragement. I also sent your podcast message to a friend of mine that is a 10 year survivor of breast cancer and i will continue to help share your information because you, Elaine and my two favorite chiropractors-Dr. Edgar Everette and Dr. Xavier Tipler are on my team and we are all working in the movement of empowering people to live healthier lives, getting fit through exercise and proper nutrition and changing lives by re-evaluating the way that we as a community look at our health and our bodies. Let’s continue to keep in touch. God Bless!
